NEXON STAR's energy self-sufficiency system is a patented system that can self-produce the power consumption of green hydrogen production water electrolysis facilities and use it as renewable energy. In the case of Korea, the daily average power generation time of solar power is 3 hours, and operation efficiency is low, so a large site is required.


NEXON STAR's “Energy self-sufficient water electrolysis system” and “energy self-sufficient photovoltaic power generation system” patented technologies can operate 24 hours a day by self-producing power consumption, thereby increasing operational efficiency. It can be maximized and construction using a small site is possible, so hydrogen production and charging (hydrogen, electricity) can be operated in one place. It can be built and applied to RE100 realization, self-supporting villages and self-supporting buildings.


According to the IEA, the green hydrogen cost structure accounts for 65% of electricity cost, 32% of CAPEX, and 5% of OPEX, so electricity cost reduction is a key factor in lowering the unit price of green hydrogen, and operational efficiency is 50% In the event of an abnormal increase, the unit price of hydrogen is reduced by 60%, and 24-hour operation also greatly contributes to cost reduction.

The methodology was reviewed, and as a result of the review, the expected revenue of carbon credits for 10 years of the energy-independent solar power generation system is about KRW 1.2 billion. In addition, in the case of the solar power generation system It has been diagnosed that it is possible to secure additional revenue of approximately KRW 5.6 billion when selling the generated power by connecting it to the power system.


In the case of energy self-sufficient complex charging stations, the reduction amount was about twice as high as that of the photovoltaic power generation system, and the carbon credits of the voluntary market (VERRA) With the price (KRW 10,000/tCO2) applied, the total revenue for 10 years was diagnosed as approximately KRW 860 million.
